February 14th is a rather peculiar date. On the one hand, everyone knows that "something has to be given." On the other, the same question arises every year: how to choose a gift that won't be awkward, predictable, or completely inappropriate. Flowers will wilt, chocolates will disappear faster than you think, and random gadgets will end up at the bottom of a drawer.
